What each filter does
- Mono — tidies up uneven light or clashing outfits.
- Film, Vintage — an old photo booth look; pairs well with cream or kraft frames.
- Warm, Cool — counteracts indoor light that is too yellow or too blue.
- Bright — for dim rooms.
Add the date with a caption
Years later, "when was this?" is the first question. Add the date, date and time, or your own text like "Mia’s 7th birthday" at the top or bottom.
Matching a friend’s style
Strips shot separately only look like a set when frame and filter match. Sending the setup as a code is more reliable than describing it.
Choosing in the app
The Frame, Filter, Deco and Adjust menus sit under the preview in the Android app "Photo Booth".
Pick frame, filter and decoration
There are six basic frame colors, extra colors, and three "Weekly" frames that change every week. Filters apply live in the preview, so you can see the result before shooting. Deco adds stickers and a caption (date, date + time or custom text, top or bottom, three fonts).
Extra frame, filter and sticker packs unlock for good after one short ad; Weekly frames unlock for 24 hours.
Share it as a frame code
Copy the frame code and send it to a friend. When they paste it, the same frame, filter and spacing are applied. Anything they have not unlocked falls back to the default.

Can I change the frame of a photo I already took?
