Several Canadian provinces stop changing clocks from November 2026; see time zone rule changes.

Checking recurring meetings

  1. Decide which city the meeting is anchored to (“2pm London”).
  2. Tell everyone else in advance what it will be in the week of 25 October and after 1 November.
  3. Recurring calendar events follow the organiser’s zone, so let someone in the anchor city own the invite.

FAQ

Has the US abolished DST?

As of October 2026, most of the US still changes on the dates above. If the law changes, so will the dates; follow official announcements.

Why do southern-hemisphere gaps move the other way?

Their summer is our winter, so they spring forward in October while Europe and North America fall back.
