What makes a greeting stick
- Their name, or something you did together, is in it.
- It’s short — one line per card is plenty.
- It isn’t a copy — if they already got the same image in a group chat, it lands flat.

When to send
Messages pile up right after midnight. Send to close friends at midnight, and to work contacts on the morning of January 1 or the first working day. For Lunar New Year, Seollal in Korea falls on February 7, 2027.
Making the animated card
Type the greeting as your wish
In Wish Fireworks, type your greeting into the wish field on the Launch tab (up to 40 characters). Under Decorate, a Card theme and Night sky change the mood.
The sample wish in the screenshots below is written in Korean; your own wish appears in whatever language you type.
Launch it and share a GIF
Tap Launch it, then Share as animated GIF. The card with the bursting firework becomes a GIF of a few seconds and the share sheet opens. For a still image, use Save image.
HQ and watermark
Cards carry the app name as a watermark by default. Watching one ad unlocks Share without watermark for 24 hours and HQ GIF for an hour.

Change the text and make one at a time. Save favorite lines in the Wish Book to launch again later.
The GIF shows as a still image in my messenger.
Some messaging apps convert GIFs to photos. Try sending it as a file or to a different app.
