Upgrade order:
read the cost curve first

If each upgrade level costs 1.5x the previous one, going from level 9 to 10 costs about 38 times the first level. For a long stretch of the game, the same coins buy more by spreading them over several parts than by finishing one.

Price by level

Maxing all eight parts takes roughly 90,000 coins.

How coins are earned

At the end of a run you get 1.5 coins per metre of best altitude + 0.1 coin per metre travelled + coins picked up. Reaching 1,000 m is worth 1,500 coins on its own, so a metre of height is worth 15 metres of distance. Gems are 12 coins, boost rings 3.

Suggested order

StageUpgrade firstWhy
EarlyWheels, Fuel tankWheels are cheapest and improve both tuck acceleration and rolling drag, so you launch faster. Each tank level adds 0.5 s of boost
MidWings, Booster, FrameAltitude is most of your payout, so parts that take you up gain value. Around Wings level 6 to 7, maximum lift can start to beat gravity
LateAero kit, Landing gear, Wind foilParts that polish distance and chained flights

One rule covers most of it: buy the part whose next level is cheapest, and pause a part once its next level costs as much as two or three levels elsewhere.

Stars and skills

Skills are bought with stars, not coins. Stars come from pickups in the sky and from passing best-altitude milestones for the first time: 50 m, 100 m, 250 m, 500 m, 1,000 m, 2,000 m, 4,000 m, 8,000 m and 15,000 m. A skill level costs 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 stars in turn. Early on, Kick start (faster starts) and Pit stop (more fuel on landing) are the ones you feel most.

Ad boosts are a bonus

Daily boosts give 24 hours of Double coins, Double stars, Full tank (+50% fuel and a faster start) and more for watching an ad. If no ad can load, the boost is granted anyway. Nothing in the progression is locked behind them.

FAQ

What if I max out one part first?

You unlock the “Maxed part” badge, but the same coins could have bought several levels elsewhere. When your records stall, fill the weakest part first.

Fastest way to earn coins?

Altitude is most of the payout. A run that goes high once pays more than a long flat one. The Fortune branch skill Coin sense adds 12% coins per level.
